Cypress Copse

I purchased a small cypress forest from our club member Gail Parillo at Cliff’s gathering in November. I bought a somewhat larger (still rather small) cypress from Gail also. Of course, Betsy and Alan told me I needed to combine the two. I actually styled the individual tree about a month ago. I added it to the copse a couple of weeks ago. Wish I had a picture of the original forest…but I don’t. Here is the forest restyled to incorporate the larger #1 tree.

I recently participated in a workshop with Guy Guidry. He sketched a tree for me………………here it is…….

Anyway, now I redesigned the forest hoping for a flat top look. Here is the new one………………………

I have repotted all my deciduous trees except one short fat cypress that I collected years ago…………….I’ll have to take a picture and get your ideas………………rick j
