Add’l Pics of Joy of Bonsai 2010

This was my first time going to the Joy of Bonsai and I had a great time, as Clarina mentioned I acquired a new love for Shohin. Mike Cartrett (first time seeing) was doing a demo on a Podoacarpus triple truck he explained well and made jokes. This was also my first time seeing Suthin Sukosolvisit in action, he did a demo on a JBP, before and throughout the demo he gave great explaination on how and when to pluck needles and cut buds very informative. There were auctions and raffles, of course I participated in all the raffles thoughout the day and as they say I made out like a bandit. Here is what I won plus a 2007 International Bonsai Magazine.

This is a Weeping Crape Myrtle By Mike Rogers. Mike did a great job on the wiring, I think it was auctioned off later that night. I am sure it is going to be fun for who ever took it home. (Wished it was me)
