Ben Oki Demo
In our last meeting we had Ben Oki working on the podocarpus tree. The result was the beautiful tree below. He also did some workshop on the member’s trees with amazing results!

Wow , that tree is bigger than Ben, you can barely see him back there.
Thanks for the picture Clarina. I thouroughly enjoyed my one-on-one time with Ben. He is a nice gentleman. He gave me a pin (Ben Oki Award) and a signed bamboo knife for working the soil from large roots. He recently sent me a picture of one of his Black Pines, thanking me for travel and asking me to thank the club too! Our dialogue about his youth (Hiroshima) took me back. rj
Whoevery gets this tree is going to be very luck. We are so fortunate to have great teachers and good material.
